A veteran and ring general if there ever was one, Daniel Santoy exudes the confidence brought on by years in a wrestling ring. Touting his prowess as "The greatest technical wrestler in the SWF," Daniel resorts more often to dirty tactics to achieve his ends.

Santoy's career began in 1997. Alongside the original superstars of the SWF, Santoy blazed a path directly to the SWF Championship, held by his brother, Scooter Pondoff. The two would have absolutely epic matches, including an iron man match determined by a last minute submission.

Over the next few years, Santoy would linger in the midcard until his betrayal of John Pirtle, ending their Deadly Alliance tag team. The betrayal won Santoy his second SWF Championship, and launched a feud that would be one of the hottest in SWF history. Santoy eventually lost the title back to John, but the seeds were planted.

During the WWRV invasion in 2004, Santoy was actually the only SWF superstar to "switch sides," aligning himself with Rebecca Newcomb and the WWRV superstars almost as soon as they showed up. He would win his Mind Games match that year against Cole Oz for the United States Championship, but his side would lose out. Unfortunately for the SWF, as a champion he was immune to being fired, and so stayed on.

In 2005, Santoy did the unthinkable and aligned himself with former enemy John Pirtle to re-form the Deadly Alliance, now at the head of a new stable that also included the monster Kirby and Anna Machen. The four ran roughshod over the SWF for almost 10 months, even at one point putting out general manager Jackie Blue and replacing her with Santoy himself. At the end however, Santoy would again betray Pirtle at Capitol Punishment, going on to his third SWF Championship in the process.

During the course of that summer, Santoy came into first contact with an up and comer known as PG13. He eventually joined forces with the rookie, forming a stable known as the First Family, alongside his sister Anna Machen and brother Scooter Pondoff. The stable enjoyed success, but eventually fell apart when PG13 decided he was better off without them.

In the buildup to Mind Games VI, it was revealed that John Pirtle was behind a heinous attack on the general manager Jackie Blue. In the following weeks, Santoy revealed that Blue was his mother, and vowed revenge. He would get it at Mind Games, defeating John after the Match of the Year for 2010, but at a bit of a cost... PG13 would attack him after the match and align himself with Pirtle. Not to be outdone, Santoy joined forces with another newcomer Mike Kizzar to form the Hollywood Heartbreakers!

The two teams feuded most of 2010 and 2011, until PG13 bombed Kizzar's car at High Stakes. After that, it became a personal vendetta for Santoy, who went after PG13. The two finally met at Mind Games VII, and like the six events before, Santoy emerged victorious after a greuling Extreme Rules match.
