The
little sister of SWF superstars Daniel Santoy and Scooter Pondoff, Anna never really took to the “feminine ideal.”
Trained by arguably two of the greatest ring technicians in the SWF, Anna employs a wrestling style unlike any other in the
Femme Division, pairing technical prowess with raw brutality.
Anna calls herself the “First Woman”
of the SWF, and the name is not without merit. She actually debuted with the company in 1997, facing Jen Martin for the Femme
Division Championship. Throughout the early years, she also gained the unique prestige of actually holding a male singles
title (the Hardcore Championship) for a short time before Jackie Blue forbade women from competing for male titles.
Machen
took a brief hiatus from wrestling in 2000, but returned in force at High Stakes 2004, bringing her unique brand of feminine
violence back to the squared circle of the SWF. Her feud with Jennifer Baxter, leading to an epic best of 5 series going into
Mind Games IV remains one of the highlights of her career. She would turn that victory into her third Femme Division title
reign before finally losing to an up and comer named Emma Kiwi.
Once again, Anna took a break from wrestling
to pursue her other interests, but returned to the SWF in 2010, challenging the new manager of her brother, Molly Rose, to
a match. In the course of their High Stakes showdown, Molly showed something to Anna, because she immediately proposed a partnership,
where she would pass on her skills and experience to the rookie Rose.
The two immediately entered the Femme Tag
Team scene, and went up against the True Blood Coalition at Mind Games VII, where they were victorious! Essentially becoming
the first “Female Grand Slam” champion in SWF history, Anna’s stock only continues to soar as she prepares
for the new season with her tag partner ready to turn aside the challenges of any who oppose them.
