Few men have had as auspicious a start in the SWF as Kevin Martin. In his first official match, Kevin Martin faced and defeated Daniel Santoy for the SWF Intercontinental Championship. From that point on, opponents knew that this Canadian meant business.

In 1998, Kevin Martin was released from the SWF due to family issues. However, he was always regarded as one of the best, and in 2009, Martin was re-signed and brought back to the SWF, where he quickly became the United States Champion in his first match back. He continued as champion until Mind Games VI, where he was defeated by an up and comer named Kyle Andrews.

Ever since, Kevin has seemingly let the fame and fortune of his latest stint in the SWF go to his head, lording his earnings over his fellow superstars. Things only got worse at Mind Games VII, as Kevin defeated Jay Curry (using a chair) to win the Intercontinental Championship for the second time. One can only imagine he'll be insufferable now with gold once again on his shoulder
