One of the newest superstars to show up in the SWF, Devlin Hunter immediately turned heads, so much
so that he gained a #1 Contender's Match against Eric Ridgeway almost immediately. Later on, he would prove himself in the
SureShot Tournament, though he would lose his first Mind Games outing,
In season 3, Devlin Hunter found
his losing streak continuing and Jackie Blue was none too happy about it. Blue would give Hunter the opportunity to prove
himself one last time against Juan Valderaz. The rookie beat the veteran with a quick roll up after a rather impressive match.
Hunter's
career had done and about-face overnight it would seem as the Dynamite Kid would soon go on to defeat Connor House to become
The SWF Hardcore Champion. Though his fame doesn't seem to being getting the better of him, several ladies have been taking
notice... on Denise Albertus in particular.
The Kid would go on to raise the ire of
Juan Valderaz again after interrupting his Championship celebration on ReVenge in which Valderaz was eluding too some colorful
interactions he wished to have with Carmen Madison. While it would appear that Hunter had chivalrous intentions, the love
behind them was not what the SWF Universe would expect. Devlin revealed to Valderaz that Carmen Madison is his sister. Such
a revelation came only a month after it was discovered that he is also the brother of fellow superstar Alex Knight.
This
mysterious familial connection is only rivaled by Hunter's oblivious nature when it comes to the adoration he has gained over
the season. Once thing is for certain... Devlin Hunter is a man on fire.
